It's a very cost effective way to bump up the performance of your late model Commodore, increasing airflow by 14%. Manufactured by a renowned engineering company you can be assured of the outstanding quality and workmanship of these remanufactured throttle bodies. The photo does NOT do these throttle bodies justice! This mod is an excellent cost effective way to bump up horsepower from your late model Commodore, as shown on the before and after dyno graphs. In this case, a VY manual with extractors/exhaust and chip and made 161.2 HP at the rear wheels. But after changing leads, spark plugs and installing our larger throttle body, power jumped to 176.9 HP at the rear wheels! Backed up by other testing gains of around 10 HP at the rear wheels are to be had if used in conjunction with extractors/exhaust and cold air intake. A greater power gain can be achieved if more mods have been undertaken such as a larger cam, supercharger etc On top of this power increase, it will also make your Commodore sound meaner (i.e. more air rushing into the engine = meaner sound) and offer a much better throttle response! Please note that our throttle bodies use a brand new, 69mm brass butterfly, unlike some who mislead people into thinking that they are selling a larger throttle body which is only a cleaned up version of the factory item still using the original butterfly! People please ask for photographic proof that the butterfly diameter (not the initial throttle body opening as its not the main restriction in the first place!!!) is what they claim it is to be, as I've seen far too many people ripped off. On another note we don't manufacture these throttle bodies in 70mm, as we feel that they are unsafe long term as the wall thickness is too thin and may fail over time. These throttle bodies have been fitted to a number of cars including David Wilzigs ITT.38L which is the FASTEST V6 IN AUSTRALIA, pulling 9.981 seconds @ 137.88MPH down the quarter and making 750HP! So these products have been well proven to work even on the most extreme cars! Please Note: These throttle bodies are not polished. A tune is recommended for this setup; we can provide a re- calibrated PCM or Memcal to suit. POWER RUN, WITHOUT LARGER THROTTLE BODY POWER RUN, WITH LARGER THROTTLE BODY! MEASURED THROTTLE BODY!

Porsche 918 Spyder to get 4.6 litre V8
Sun, 08 Jan 2012Porsche 918 Spyder to get 4.6 litre V8 The Porsche 918 Spyder is to get a 4.6 litre V8 and lose one of its electric motors when it launches after a Frankfurt 2013 debut. It’s almost two years since the Porsche 918 Spyder debuted at the Geneva Motor show as a potential 21st century eco-replacement for the Carrera GT. The amount of interest shown – and offers of deposits – persuaded Porsche to confirm the 918 Spyder for production last March, but it’s still more than eighteen months away from arriving on the road.
Rolls Royce EX200 (RR4 / Ghost) breaks cover early
Thu, 19 Feb 2009The Rolls Royce EX200 Concept unveiled ahead of its Geneva debut [ad#ad-1] Well, this was supposed to be embargoed until tomorrow, but if the Daily Telegraph are prepared to jump the gun, I suppose we may as well jump on their coach and run it as well! After more spy shots of the Rolls Royce RR4 than I care to remember, and teaser images and trickles of details, we finally have some concrete information, and some images, to put meat on the bones of the new Baby Rolls Royce. But apparently we shouldn’t call it the ‘Baby’ RR, as Rolls Royce insists that the new car, which will be almost exactly the same as this concept, will be built to the same exacting standards as the flagship Phantom.
